Celebrating One Year

"Most of all, let love guide your life."

Wow! Today, I'm celebrating my first year of business (with the help of pretty balloons and lots of cupcakes). This year has been one of the most exciting years of my life, and I'm beyond thankful for so many wonderful clients, friends and family members who have supported me on this journey. Every commission, every order, every Facebook/Instagram like, and every kind email has meant the world to me. There's nothing better than sharing my heart and mind with others and seeing that what I've created has touched or spoken to someone else, or vice versa. I'm in love with art's powerful ability to connect people without words.

To celebrate, I thought it would be fun to look back on some of my favorite blog posts and moments from this past year.

  • Trip to NYC and Cape Cod (Forever dreaming of NYC's hustle and bustle and the gorgeous coast)
  • Dress Your Tech Post for Designlovefest (Bri is awesome and so is her blog! I loved getting to work with her to create several free desktop downloads for her readers.)
  • Kendi Everyday's Facebook post sharing my desktop downloads (It's the small things, right? Who doesn't love Kendi Everyday? So cool seeing her share my collaboration with Designlovefest.)
  • Kate's (The Small Things Blog) very own Katherine Jury mousepad - shared on Instagram! (Again, even the little things are worth celebrating, right?!)
  • Design*Sponge's Instagram post of Tiffany Collin's beautiful florals and my painting palette (Design*Sponge loved Tiffany's color-rich arrangement as much as I did!)
  • My Studio Tour (Lots of hard work went into creating my workspace and this post celebrates the completion of that renovation!)
  • Trip to the Pacific (San Diego) Part 1 AND Part 2 (One of my very favorite trips I've ever taken... California, you're a dream!)
  • Vogue UK's Gallery Feature (A very small mention, but hey, I'll take it! Thrilled to have been included in such an awesome publication!)
  • My September Playlist (It's not September anymore, but I'm still in love with this studio mix.)

And that's a wrap! *Insert sighs of relief, the kicking up of feet and celebrating here*

Thanks so much for sharing your stories with me, for sending lots of love and encouragement my way and for supporting my work over this past year. I have the most wonderful clients, friends and family. I love you lots!
