An October in Scotland
“I’m not sure what I’ll do, but - well, I want to go places and see people. I want my mind to grow. I want to live where things happen on a big scale.” (F. Scott Fitzgerald, The Ice Palace)
Just one month ago, I returned from what can be described as nothing short of an adventure! I spent my days in October exploring Ireland, Scotland, England and France and journeyed to and from Europe completely by myself. I saw my trip as the perfect opportunity to challenge myself, to take on the uncharted, and to grow.
While in Scotland, I was overwhelmed with its vast landscape, unusual terrain, calming coast, sublime vegetation, beautiful culture and rich history. It's no surprise that I'm already missing such a special place, not to mention my incredible friends who hosted me while I was in Edinburgh. (Sending you lots of love from Louisville all the way to the UK!)
Below you'll find a few of my favorite images from my travels throughout Scotland and England.
Thanks so much for viewing some of my favorite moments from my trip to the United Kingdom. Feeling inspired? Me, too!
I thought it would be fun to also include snapshots of my travels via my Instagram account. Below you'll see more of my trip, as told through my iPhone!
